Aspirations of Mothers Urge The Indonesian Government to Adopt a National Holiday Based on The UN Resolution on Islamophobia

Global Cyber News.Com|Silaturrachmi with Zulfikar Hanamoan SH, Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from Commission VII with Major General Tatang and Wati Imhar Burhanudin with a number of members of Aspiration took place in a relaxed manner to propose the United Nations Resolution on Islamophobia which has been approved by 193 countries, so that it can be forwarded by the Indonesian government regarding March 15, 2022, which can be used as National Holiday for Indonesia.

The casual discussion event to propose a National Holiday for the Indonesian people who appreciated the UN Resolution on March 15, 2022, was held on Wednesday night, June 15, 2022 at Zulfikar’s residence in Ciledug, South Tangerang until the early hours of the morning.

This relaxed discussion over coffee at the residence of the General Chairperson of AMPD, Zulfikar Hamonangan SH, Sultan Al Fatih, was getting more and more cheerful, punctuated by the general’s hilarious jokes, until Zulfikar’s response was no less exciting than the Eid story in his very harmonious village, although not all residents in his village it’s all Muslims.

Action plan for this National Holiday proposal, said Major General Ret. TNI-AD Tatang Zainudin will contact various parties, including the United States Embassy in Jakarta. Because he hopes that all parties will appreciate full support, such as elements of the movement under the coordination of Aspiration Wati Imhar Burhanuddin as the driving force for the Aspiration of Mothers in Indonesia.

Calls and urgings for the Indonesian government to officially accept March 15, 2022 as a milestone and then ratify it as a national holiday, will continue to be echoed by the Mothers’ Aspiration group with an action plan and by sending an official letter of request to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, the Ministry of State Secretariat, the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Kemen Pan/RB and Kemenko PMK and DPR RI as well as to a number of Representative Embassies of friendly countries in Jakarta. So that the proposed national holiday for Indonesia to commemorate the UN resolution can become the basis for the awareness of the world’s citizens, as intended by the UN resolution.
